Gregory Gauthier, MD

Dr. Gauthier’s research seeks to understand the pathogenesis of the thermally dimorphic fungi at the molecular level using _Blastomyces dermatitidis_ as a model organism.  As a physician-scientist his goal is to bring the research findings at the bench into the clinic to improve the care and clinical outcomes of patients with invasive fungal infections.
