Abigael Murphy, PA

Abigael (Abby) Murphy is a UW Health physician assistant in family medicine. She cares for people of all ages, from newborn to geriatric patients. She provides preventive care such as well checks and annual physicals, treats acute (sudden) illnesses and manages chronic (long-term) conditions. She also performs minor skin procedures.

Abby has a specific interest in prenatal care and contraceptive planning. She also provides gender-affirming and LGBTQ spectrum care.

It’s important to Abby that her patients are involved in decisions about care plans and treatments. She listens to them to understand their health needs and goals. The most exciting part of her job is seeing the progress her patients make in their health care journey.

Outside of work, Abby enjoys sewing, crafting, running and spending time with her children.

My approach to patient care is to meet the person where they are today, and make sure I take time to hear where they want to go tomorrow.
