Amanda Bennett, NP

Amanda Bennett, NP, is a UW Health Kids nurse practitioner. Amanda provides care for infants spending time in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). She has experience caring for babies with a wide variety of health conditions, including anemia (low red blood count), heart concerns and feeding challenges. Amanda also treats babies with lung problems, including breathing difficulties, lung underdevelopment and apnea (breathing pauses).

She has special clinical interests in vascular (vein) access and quality improvement. Amanda understands that she’s part of a family’s NICU journey, which she views as a privilege and an honor. She strives to provide patients and families with the highest quality, evidence-based care.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys traveling, including taking Disney trips.

My philosophy of care is to involve the entire family in the baby’s NICU journey.
