Anna Habermeyer, CNM, is a UW Health certified nurse midwife. She offers pregnancy care and delivers a full spectrum of general gynecological services for people at all stages of life — before, during and after menopause.
With a background in nursing and midwifery, Anna diagnoses and treats general disorders of the female reproductive system. These include irregular periods and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), a hormone imbalance that causes fertility issues, cysts and excess hair growth. She also treats sexually transmitted diseases, urinary tract infections and vaginal infections.
To help detect diseases early, Anna provides breast and pelvic exams, pap smears, and referrals for mammography and gynecological cancer screenings. She also offers family planning information.
During initial clinic visits, Anna performs a general health assessment. She listens to her patients’ concerns and answers questions. Together with her patients, Anna creates care plans to resolve their medical problems or help them reach their health goals.
Away from the clinic, Anna enjoys hiking, biking and jogging.
My hope is that each person I see feels heard and finds the answers they need to feel better and achieve their goals for good health.
