Annie Held, PA is a physician assistant at UW Health. She treats patients with a variety of general cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure and common arrhythmias.  Annie takes the time to get to know her patients and their unique preferences and goals for care. She empowers people to participate in making their own healthcare decisions by providing extensive education on their conditions and treatment options. She is inspired by the continual advancements in the field of cardiology and their impact on patients. Her favorite part of her job is to see people return feeling so much better after implementing their personalized plan of care. Outside of work, Annie enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband and son. They like being outdoors — hiking, camping and traveling. She also stays active running, practicing yoga and cooking. My hope for my patients is that they leave each visit feeling more empowered and in control of their health.
