Bethany Bulgrin, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner in hematology (blood disorders). She often cares for cancer patients with multiple myeloma and lymphoma. Bethany typically sees patients who have just started chemotherapy, are interested in clinical cancer trials, or need a bone marrow transplant.
To Bethany, the most rewarding part of her job is building a bond with her patients and their families. She prefers to work as a team with them and gives them the chance to decide how they want their treatment to proceed. Her goal is to provide the best care for her patients so they can continue doing the things they love for as long as possible.
Outside of work, Bethany enjoys making sourdough bread, reading and going to concerts.
My philosophy of patient care is that the patient always comes first.
