Cassie Alcock, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner in family medicine.

Cassie offers primary care services for both adults and children in all stages in life. She treats sudden illnesses, infections and minor injuries. She also helps her patients manage ongoing conditions. These include joint pain, high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, heart disease and thyroid disorders. In addition, Cassie manages care for breathing disorders and lung diseases, such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

To help patients stay healthy and catch diseases in their earliest stages, Cassie provides physical exams and orders diagnostic tests. She works to help her patients understand their conditions and fully involves them in the conversation. Together, Cassie and her patients create care plans designed to treat specific medical conditions and help them live healthy lives.

Away from the clinic, Cassie enjoys cooking new dishes and spending time with her family.

I help my patients understand their conditions and treatments. I take good care of them so they can be as healthy as possible.
