Elizabeth Felton, MD, PhD

Elizabeth Felton, MD, PhD, is a UW Health neurologist and an assistant professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She treats adult patients who have epilepsy. Her clinical interests include treating women and people with childbearing potential and using novel treatment therapies such as implanted devices and dietary changes.

Dr. Felton specializes in using ketogenic therapy in adults with epilepsy. This treatment involves changing the patient’s diet to reduce the severity and frequency of seizures. She also works with patients who have implanted nerve stimulation devices to treat their condition.

Dr. Felton believes that collaboration is necessary for all patient care. She recognizes that treatments work best when patients feel comfortable and understand how they work. By listening to her patients and providing information about their treatment options, they can decide about the care plans that best meet their unique needs and goals.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Felton enjoys going to the beach, traveling, hiking and spending time with her family.
