Elizabeth Burnside, MD, MPH, MS, FACR, FSBI

Dr. Elizabeth Burnside is a professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Section of Breast Imaging and a member of the UW Health Breast Center. She is board certified in clinical informatics and diagnostic radiology. Dr. Burnside earned her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston, MA and completed a fellowship at UCSF Medical Center, San Francisco, CA.

Dr. Burnside’s clinical specialties focus on providing all imaging and interventional procedure utilized for the early diagnosis of breast cancer. Her research investigates the use of computational methods to improve decision-making in the domain of breast imaging in the pursuit of improving the population-based screening and diagnosis of breast cancer.
