About

Ellie Ament, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner in hematology. She specializes in hematologic (blood) malignancies (cancerous tumors) and bone marrow transplants.

Ellie provides care for patients who have been admitted to the hospital with complications from blood cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma. She also provides care for hospitalized patients undergoing stem cell transplantation and CAR-T (immune system) cell therapy and those who are experiencing complications from these therapies.

Ellie believes open communication is important to provide the best care possible. She uses a patient-focused, holistic approach to care, addressing her patients’ physical and emotional needs. She takes time to listens to her patients’ concerns and answer their questions, providing support to them and their families throughout their cancer journey.

In her free time, Ellie enjoys spending time with her family and friends and participating in outdoor activities such as golfing, volleyball and hiking.

My focus is to provide comprehensive and holistic care to support patients and their families during their cancer journey.
