Acerca de

Erica Julson, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner in vascular (blood vessel) surgery. She cares for patients who have surgeries on their carotid artery or aorta, and those at risk for limb amputation. She treats patients before and after surgery and provides wound care to ensure proper healing and preserve limbs.

Erica typically follows her patients for many years as she helps them manage their vascular conditions, and it’s very rewarding for her to see her patients make progress. She strives to listen carefully to her patients and to give each person the same kind of treatment she would give to a family member. Erica tries to provide not only physical care but emotional and spiritual care when needed.

In addition to seeing patients, Erica strongly supports education and enjoys training the next generation of nurse practitioners and physician assistants who will work in vascular surgery.

Outside of the clinic, Erica enjoys Peloton cycling, strength training and spending time with her kids.

I feel like I have a duty to make sure my patients receive the most remarkable care I can possibly give them.
