Hannah Whelan, PA is a UW Health physician assistant who treats patients with orthopedic conditions involving hips and knees. Her clinical focuses are pre- and post-operative hip and knee replacement surgery and hip and knee arthritis.
Hannah sees new patients in the clinic to help manage hip and knee arthritis and works with the surgical team at the hospital to get patients ready for joint replacement surgery. She also provides post-operative care, helping patients recover and regain mobility after their procedures.
Hannah believes it’s important for patients to have a choice in the kind of care they receive. She discusses all of the available treatment options and offers education to help her patients make informed decisions. Through honest dialogue, she builds relationships centered on trust.
Outside of the clinic, Hannah enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, running and being outdoors.
I love seeing my patients return to the activities they enjoy.
