James Lewallen, CO, is a UW Health certified orthotist. He manages the care of patients who need custom-fit braces or other supportive and assistive medical devices. James evaluates and treats patients with a variety of conditions, including muscle and nerve disorders, bone and structural deformities, traumatic injuries and congenital skull shape defects.
James provides personalized care to improve a patient’s ability to move and function more freely and comfortably. He specializes in therapies such as cranial remolding to reshape head and skull deformities. His expertise also includes functional electrical stimulation (FES) treatments using electrical pulses to stimulate movement in injured or paralyzed nerves and muscles.
