Janet Robillard, PA, is a UW Health physician assistant in neurology who specializes in headache disorders. Janet diagnoses and treats patients who suffer from severe headaches that cause disabling pain. These may include chronic migraines, post-traumatic and post-concussive headaches, menstrual headaches and headaches related to pregnancy and lactation. Her clinical interests are in managing headaches in young adults and headaches connected to the female reproductive cycle. Janet uses a holistic approach to care. She reviews each patient’s medical history, performs a physical and orders additional imaging tests and blood work as necessary to fully understand what’s happening in the body. She also gets to know her patients and how their headache pain impacts their daily lives. She then works with each patient to personalize their care plan, using various approaches, including lifestyle modifications, medication, physical therapy, supplements, pain psychology, muscle injections, nerve blocks and other therapeutic procedures. During her free time, Janet enjoys traveling, cooking, reading and spending time with family. My goal is to help patients manage their headaches so they can enjoy life.
