Jennifer Tarvestad, NP

Jen Tarvestad, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner specializing in family medicine. She sees patients of all ages with a wide range of health concerns.

Jen cares for patients with a variety of acute (sudden) and chronic (long-term) illnesses. She primarily helps individuals with lifelong conditions, such as high blood pressure and diabetes, manage their condition. She also offers preventive health services, including routine screenings, vaccinations and annual check-ups.

As a firm believer in patient-centered care, Jen strives to empower people to take control of their health. She takes time to address each patient’s questions and concerns and works with them to make choices about their care.

In her free time, Jen enjoys hiking, gardening and reading.
