Jessica Robbins, MD

Jessica Robbins, MD, is a UW Health radiologist who reviews imaging, including X-rays and ultrasounds, to identify medical conditions. She also performs biopsies and uses fluoroscopy (imaging that shows a continuous view of the internal body) to view the esophagus, stomach and bowels. Dr. Robbins is a professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

Dr. Robbins also performs gynecologic and oncologic (related to the diagnosis and treatment of tumors) imaging to treat patients with cancer. She specializes in non-invasive procedures to screen for colon cancer. She approaches every image interpretation as if she’s interacting directly with the patient. She enjoys the chance to have face-to-face conversations when possible and have a direct impact on the care of those patients.

Dr. Robbins strives to learn about her patients and get as much insight into their condition as possible. By listening and learning, she better understands how her role impacts their care.

In her free time, Dr. Robbins enjoys long-distance running, hiking, gardening and spending time with her family.
