Acerca de

Jonathan Housman, MD, is a UW Health family medicine doctor. He’s also a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

From newborn care to end-of-life support, Dr. Housman provides a range of general health care services for patients of all ages. He sees patients for acute (short-term) concerns, such as viruses, injuries and infections, as well as chronic (long-term) conditions. He offers preventive health services, including well-child visits, annual physicals and preoperative care. He also performs office-based procedures to treat conditions like joint or skin problems.

As a partner to people in all stages of life, Dr. Housman strives to create a safe, welcoming environment for his patients. He encourages them to share their stories and partners with them to make decisions about their health. He believes in empowering his patients through knowledge and takes time to ensure they understand the “why” behind their treatments.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Housman enjoys teaching future health care providers about clinical medicine.

Outside of work, Dr. Housman looks forward to playing basketball, cooking, reading and spending time with his family.

I strive to help every patient meet their goals and live their best life.
