Kelli Notaro, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner in orthopedic spine rehabilitation. She helps patients of all ages manage spinal pain without surgery. Kelli cares for patients with a wide range of spinal issues, including neck, mid-back and lower back pain. She also helps patients who have radiating pain in their arms and legs determine the source of that pain. After a thorough evaluation, Kelli recommends nonsurgical treatments such as medication, injections, ice and heat therapy, physical therapy, acupuncture and lifestyle changes. Kelli believes collaborating with patients and other health care providers can lead to creative treatment approaches that benefit patients. She starts each appointment by listening carefully to her patients’ concerns and goals. She then discusses treatment options and creates care plans focused on their individual needs. In her free time, Kelli enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. The most amazing part of my job is seeing patients become themselves again after pain management.
