Kelsey Shadel, NP

Kelsey Shadel, NP, is a neurosurgery nurse practitioner at UW Health. She cares for patients who have brain and spine conditions, such as aneurysms, brain tumors and Chiari malformations.

Kelsey’s philosophy is to tailor patient care for each individual. She believes that a standardized approach with the same treatment plans doesn’t work for everyone. Kelsey prefers to work with each patient to create a care plan.

In her free time, Kelsey enjoys traveling and visiting Hawaii.

The most rewarding part about taking care of patients is seeing their progress and lower pain levels as they get back to the life that they want to live.
