Kendall Boone, MD, is a UW Health vascular surgeon who treats patients with conditions that affect the blood vessels, veins and arteries. He typically treats aneurysms (swelling in a blood vessel), blocked arteries in the heart and blood circulation issues.
He also performs surgical procedures to correct conditions affecting the veins and arteries that carry blood throughout the body. As a vascular surgeon, Dr. Boone also treats patients with an abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA). This occurs when the major artery (the aorta) that supplies blood from the heart to the rest of the body develops a weak, bulging area. He’s also experienced in treating carotid artery disease (CAD), which develops when fatty deposits (plaque) block the main artery that carries blood to the head and brain.
Outside of work, Dr. Boone enjoys spending time with his family.
My care philosophy is to treat my patients as I would my own family.
