Kenneth Lee, MD, is a UW Health radiologist and a professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He performs imaging scans to diagnose and treat musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. Dr. Lee has a clinical interest in sports medicine. He uses advanced imaging technology such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs and ultrasounds to diagnose and treat common sports injuries and work-related injuries affecting bones, muscles, joints, ligaments and tendons. According to Dr. Lee, listening to patients leads to better care. He asks questions to determine the root cause of their pain and listens to their concerns and goals. He then collaborates with patients to create personalized care plans that meet their unique needs, so they can return to sports, work and daily activities quickly and safely. In addition to his clinical practice and teaching role, Dr. Lee conducts research for professional sports leagues looking at sports medicine injuries and how to help patients return to training and competition as quickly as possible. In his free time, Dr. Lee enjoys playing pickleball, hiking, biking and golfing. Helping patients get back on their feet is powerful.
