Marc Sherry, PT, is a UW Health physical therapist with a doctorate in physical therapy and advanced expertise in sports rehabilitation. He focuses on how sports biomechanics affect injuries and helps athletes return to their active lifestyles. Marc cares for patients with a variety of sports-related injuries, including acute hamstring strains and anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears. He also has clinical interests in pediatric sports medicine and basketball athletes. Marc’s patient care philosophy is to provide the highest quality care possible to help patients return to the activities they enjoy. He believes in a team-based approach to care with shared decision-making. Marc treats the whole person and considers each patient’s mental and physical health. In addition to his clinical practice, Marc conducts research on rehabilitating acute hamstring injuries, tendinopathy (swelling and pain in the tendons) and neurocognitive testing (measuring brain function) while performing physical activities. In his free time, Marc enjoys basketball, golf, waterskiing, hiking, tennis, pickleball and Wisconsin college and pro sports. I want to help my patients return to an active and healthy lifestyle.
