As a physician specially trained in emergency medicine, Marin Darsie, MD, leads a team of expert health care clinicians who treat people with illnesses or injuries that could be life-threatening or pose an immediate risk to their health and well-being. Injury or illness can be caused by disease, infection, stroke, heart attack, or bodily trauma, and may include symptoms such as fevers, vomiting, bleeding, shortness of breath, dizziness, weakness and pain. She speaks with patients, obtains lab tests and imaging, such as X-rays to diagnose the injury or illness and provides necessary treatment.
