Megan Dudek, DO, is a UW Health family medicine doctor and a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She cares for patients of all ages and treats a wide range of acute and chronic conditions such as heart, lung and kidney issues, diabetes, chronic pain, anxiety and depression. Dr. Dudek takes a holistic approach to health care. Using an integrative medicine approach, she offers alternative treatments such as osteopathic manipulative therapy (OMT), a hands-on manual therapy to reduce pain and improve function. Dr. Dudek enjoys getting to know her patients and watching families grow and has a special interest in providing care to the LGBTQ+ population and providing hormone therapy. Through shared decision-making, she personalizes each care plan to meet each person’s goals. Because she is passionate about learning and growing as a provider and educating her patients, Dr. Dudek strives to offer her patients the latest treatment options to improve their health and quality of life. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Dudek enjoys spending time with her wife, daughter and dogs hiking and kayaking. My philosophy toward patient care is to get to know my patients and understand where they are in their health journey. I then work together with each patient to develop the best care plan for them.
