Mihai Teodorescu, MD, is a geriatrician and a sleep medicine doctor at UW Health. He diagnoses and treats a variety of conditions that affect older adults and sleep. Dr. Teodorescu treats cardiovascular diseases, cancers and dementias in older adults as well as sleep apnea, insomnia and parasomnias (unusual behaviors during sleep). Dr. Teodorescu’s clinical interest is sleep in older adults. His care philosophy is to provide the best expertise and advice that fits with the patient's wishes and values. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Teodorescu is an associate clinical professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Department of Medicine. In his free time, Dr. Teodorescu enjoys exercising and spending time with his dogs. What keeps me going are my relationships and interactions with patients. The most rewarding part of patient care is when I get to see them come back and tell me that they're doing well.
