Nassima Baba-Ahmed Fertikh, MD

Dr. Fertikh is a neurologist and a clinical assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health specializing in diseases that affect the peripheral nervous system including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and other motor neuron diseases.

She earned her medical degree from the University of Algiers and completed her residency and fellowship in neurology at the University of Cincinnati. Her medical interests include neuromuscular diseases such as inherited and acquired neuropathies (CMT, CIDP), neuromuscular junction disorders (myasthenia gravis and Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndrome), myopathies, muscular dystrophies, nerve conduction studies and electromyograms.
