Paul Furigay, MD

Paul Furigay, MD is a UW Health Kids neonatologist who provides comprehensive intensive care for infants born too early or with complex medical conditions.

Dr. Furigay works in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). He provides specialized care for premature babies (born too early) and infants born with complex health conditions. He also provides perinatal palliative care for patients carrying a fetus identified as having a fetal anomaly (irregularity) or a newborn with an identified life-limiting condition.

Dr. Furigay uses skill and compassion to guide families through difficult diagnoses for their babies. He strives to make the process more tolerable for his young patients’ families by providing sound information, education and support. He enjoys building relationships with his patients’ families over time and always puts the health and wellbeing of his patients first.

In his free time, Dr. Furigay enjoys cooking, camping, hiking, wood crafting and listening to music.

My mission is to advocate and care for those who are most vulnerable and at risk.
