Rachel Radel, PA

Rachel Radel, PA, is a UW Health physician assistant. She provides post-operative care for patients in the hospital who have undergone cancer surgery.

Rachel manages the day-to-day care of patients who have cancer and are in the hospital recovering from surgery to remove cancerous tumors in the breast or abdomen. She works closely with each patient’s surgeon to coordinate care to meet their specific needs.

Rachel serves as an advocate for her patients and educates them about their surgery and postoperative cares, so they can be an active participant in their care.

In her free time, Rachel enjoys golfing, snowboarding, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.

Explaining to patients and their families what to expect post-surgery is key to establishing a relationship of trust and provides for the best outcome.
