Sanders Chae, MD

Sanders Chae, MD, is a UW Health cardiologist (heart doctor). He specializes in interventional cardiac electrophysiology, a branch of cardiology focused on treating the heart’s electrical systems.

Dr. Chae primarily diagnoses and treats abnormal heart rhythm disorders. He cares for patients with a variety of arrhythmias (abnormal heartbeats). These include atrial and ventricular fibrillation (rapid, irregular heartbeats), atrial flutters (rapid, regular heartbeats) and tachycardias (abnormally fast heart rate). He also sees patients with abnormalities in the heart’s natural pacemaker — the sinus node.

Dr. Chae appreciates the importance of patient-centered care and strives to help people in meaningful ways. He partners with his patients to help them understand their conditions and find treatments that fit their goals. He encourages them to take control of their health and get back to living their best lives.

In his free time, Dr. Chae enjoys running, skiing, hiking and traveling with his family.

I’m committed to empowering my patients to pursue their health-related goals.
