Acerca de

Sarah Nigro, PsyD, is a UW Health Kids pediatric neuropsychologist and an assistant professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

Sarah sees children with conditions that are medical, genetic (passed down in families) or neurological (affecting the brain, nerves and spinal cord). Her patients commonly have problems with memory or paying attention at school.

Sarah enjoys working with patients and families to identify the cause of each child’s challenges so that she can help them and improve their quality of life. She has a special clinical interest in pediatric oncology (cancer). Sarah provides care for children with cancer (or its treatment) that is affecting their cognition (thinking) and performance at school.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time outside and with her pets.

My goal is to help patients and their families so the child can be their most successful self.
