About

Taylor Farnsworth, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner. She cares for patients of all ages who have suffered severe or life-threatening traumatic injuries and related conditions. Taylor evaluates and treats patients who require surgery for injuries caused by falls, traffic accidents or other types of traumas.

Taylor is part of a highly skilled team at UW Health. She communicates with patients and their families throughout their hospital stay. She coordinates care across many specialties, ensuring that patients get the best available treatments.

Taking a collaborative approach to care, Taylor listens and offers support through stressful times. She helps patients, families and caregivers to feel heard and respected. She involves them in developing workable care plans that fit their priorities and goals. Taylor provides expert care, education and guidance for smooth transitions toward going home from the hospital.

Taylor also sees patients for follow-up evaluation and care. She helps patients and families get the tools and resources they’ll need to successfully recover at home.

Outside of work, Taylor loves hiking, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family, friends, and pets.

My goal is to provide the highest level of care possible and to be there for patients, at the bedside and as they transition to home or another care facility.
