Acerca de

Timothy Kamp, MD, is a cardiologist at UW Health and a professor in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Department of Medicine.

He provides care to patients with heart conditions, including coronary artery disease, arrythmias (an irregular heartbeat) and heart failure. Dr. Kamp is especially interested in neuromuscular disorders that affect the heart, including Duchenne's muscular dystrophy.

As a cardiologist, Dr. Kamp also sees patients who have experienced a heart attack. He advocates for patients to take care of their health, take the correct medications, and adopt a healthy lifestyle to prevent another heart attack from happening.

Listening to his patients and helping them understand their heart problems are very important to Dr. Kamp. He aims to help his patients feel at ease when discussing treatments and important information. He provides multiple treatment options to ensure they’re comfortable with their care plan.

In his free time, Dr. Kamp enjoys running, cycling, cross-country skiing, golf and fishing.

My hope for each of my patients is that they get the absolute best cardiovascular care that we can offer.
