Trevor Dennie, MD

Acerca de

Trevor Dennie, MD, is a UW Health oncologist who treats patients with cancer or blood-related disorders. As a hematologist (blood disorder specialist), he treats a variety of conditions, including blood clots and anemia (a lack of healthy red blood cells). He also treats blood cancers such as leukemia and myeloma (plasma cell cancer). Dr. Dennie also is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

Dr. Dennie understands the feelings his patients experience with a new cancer diagnosis. He sees his role as not only providing medication and treatment but also providing support to his patients and their families. He works hard to balance aggressive care while preserving a patient’s quality of life.

Dr. Dennie’s philosophy is that his patients should decide what they want for their care. He strives to educate his patients on every therapy available and works with them to tailor a care plan that fits their needs. He’s excited about new cancer therapies and treatments, including immunotherapy, that are giving patients better results.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Dennie enjoys bicycling, jogging and spending time with his sons.

My hope for each of my patients is that they will achieve a better quality of life and better health through treatment.
