Yixuan (Sunny) Zhou, MD, is a UW Health rheumatologist. She treats patients with autoimmune diseases, including lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, gout (a type of joint arthritis) and spondyloarthritis (arthritis that forms in the bones). She also cares for patients with related disorders, including vasculitis (inflamed blood vessels), scleroderma (inflammation of the skin and other parts of the body) and osteoporosis (a bone condition that may occur due to autoimmune disease).
Dr. Zhou believes in treating the patient as a person and not just as a disease or symptom. She enjoys talking to her patients and learning about their lives.
