Ryan Coller, MD, MPH, is a UW Health Kids pediatrician. He specializes in treating children hospitalized with complex medical conditions. He’s also an associate professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and serves as the division chief of Hospital Medicine and Complex Care.
Dr. Coller cares for patients with chronic and complex medical issues in hospital and clinic settings. He collaborates with his team to identify early signs of illness.
Dr. Coller also conducts research to support family-delivered care at home for children with chronic illnesses. He strives to reduce health emergencies that lead to hospitalizations. Using various methods and digital health tools, his work aims to improve the well-being of caregivers and their children.
In his free time, Dr. Coller enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, children and dogs.
Just like doctors and nurses, families are part of their child’s treatment team, too. I want to give them the support and tools they need to care for their child in the best way possible.
