Shanda Wells, PsyD, is a UW Health Kids pediatric psychologist.
Shanda provides behavioral health care for patients aged 18 and younger. She diagnoses and treats mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD and behavioral disorders. She has a special interest in caring for small children and families, as well as patients in the LGBTQA+ community.
Recognizing the impact that family can have on health, she partners with patients and their loved ones to find positive ways to cope in difficult situations. With a focus on collaborative care, she works with other specialists to meet the emotional, behavioral and physical needs of her patients.
In addition to her clinical work, Shanda is the behavioral health manager for primary care at UW Health. In her role, she leads a team of behavioral health providers to deliver integrated care for patients and their families.
I believe in treating the whole person as well as the whole family.
