We are home to one of only three Level 4 adult epilepsy centers in Wisconsin.

We provide comprehensive treatment for headaches and facial pain.

The general neurology team diagnoses and manages many complex and chronic neurologic diseases including:

In 2019, our multiple sclerosis clinic received the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Excellence in Healthcare award. The National MS Society also designates us as a Partner in MS Care and Center for Comprehensive MS Care.

We diagnose and treat nerve and muscle disorders. We offer half-day evaluations through our Multidisciplinary Neuromuscular Clinic, giving you the chance to meet with all members of your care team.

Our team specializes in cancer related to the neurological system. We play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating cancer patients.

Our neuropsychology team performs evaluations to check for changes in memory, thinking and attention.

Our team offers advanced care to children diagnosed with neurological diseases or disorders.

Our neurologists work with other sleep experts in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions including narcolepsy, restless leg syndrome, sleep apnea and pregnancy-related sleep disorders.

We work to minimize the impact of stroke through prevention, advanced treatment and rehabilitation. The American Heart Association recognizes our facility as a Comprehensive Stroke Center.

Our team at UW Health leads the University of Wisconsin Telestroke Network. We offer our expertise via telehealth technologies to regional hospitals caring for patients who have experienced a stroke.

The research we do at UW Health and the University of Wisconsin increases our understanding of many neurological diseases and disorders and helps us advance care for all our patients. It also leads to promising new treatments that we offer to patients through clinical trials.
