Abigail Nelezen, MD

Abigail Nelezen, MD, is a UW Health obstetrician and gynecologist (OB/GYN). She’s also a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

Through changing stages of life, Dr. Nelezen provides comprehensive care. She offers a range of family planning, surgical services, prenatal and childbirth care. Her services include routine gynecologic care, reproductive exams and diagnostic testing. She screens for cervical cancer and other diseases. She treats conditions such as ovarian cysts, menstrual disorders and hormonal imbalances.

Dr. Nelezen sees patients throughout and beyond their reproductive years. She addresses personal questions and concerns. She helps patients reach their health, quality of life and treatment goals.

In her free time, Dr. Nelezen loves cooking and spending time with her spouse and cats. She reads sci-fi, fantasy and nonfiction and enjoys hiking and visiting national parks.

We work as a team to create a safe space for patients with truly patient-centered care.
