Adam Weinstein, MD, is a UW Health anesthesiologist who provides pain relief during surgery and other medical procedures. Dr. Weinstein is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
Dr. Weinstein evaluates his patients before, during and after surgery to support the best overall health outcomes. He assesses his patients to ensure they receive tailored pain relief plans that meet their specific needs. He monitors heart rate, oxygen levels and other vital functions during surgery to maintain stability. In addition to providing patient care, Dr. Weinstein works to improve clinical operations to increase efficiency, patient safety and overall health care delivery.
He has a clinical interest in anesthesia for neurosurgery, as well as a passion for clinical operations and medical informatics (applying information technology to health care).
Dr. Weinstein believes every patient deserves personalized, compassionate and holistic care. He strives to treat each patient as a unique individual, considering their medical needs as well as their emotional, social and psychological well-being.
