Aleida Rodriguez, MD is a UW Health endocrinologist. Dr. Rodriguez treats a range of conditions affecting the thyroid, adrenal and pituitary glands, which produce hormones that control many of the body’s functions.
Dr. Rodriguez treats disorders affecting the thyroid gland (located in the front of the throat), adrenal gland (in the abdomen) and pituitary gland (at the base of the brain). When these glands aren’t working correctly, they can negatively affect energy levels, body temperature, weight, growth and development, among other things. As a general endocrinology doctor, she also cares for patients with diabetes and provides bone health care to prevent or manage osteoporosis.
