Alex Bishop, PT, is a UW Health physical therapist with a doctorate in physical therapy. He treats patients with musculoskeletal conditions affecting the neck, back, shoulders, hips, knees, ankles and feet, as well as balance issues. He also works with patients who have had surgery, including lower-limb amputation.
Using a variety of treatments, including manual and aquatic (water) therapy techniques, Alex works to restore his patients’ comfort and function. He educates people about their bodies and the many factors that affect the body’s ability to function at its best. His goal is to empower people with the knowledge and tools they need to enjoy active lives.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys running, biking, hiking, camping and exploring local restaurants. He’s also an avid Bucks and Packers fan.
I use movement and education to help my patients get back to the activities they love.
