About
Alexandra Scaccia, PA, is a physician assistant at UW Health. Alexandra cares for people with digestive system disorders. These include irritable bowel syndrome and other disorders involving the pancreas, liver, gallbladder, esophagus, stomach, small intestine and colon. She treats abdominal pain, nausea, bloating, indigestion, abnormal bowel movements and other symptoms.
To help put patients at ease, Alexandra listens closely to their concerns. She carefully explains the latest treatment options for their conditions and offers care recommendations.
One aspect of medicine she especially enjoys is puzzle-solving — helping to pinpoint the source of her patients’ medical issues and finding the right treatment to help them feel better. Her goal is to help people heal and live a healthy life.
When not caring for patients, Alexandra enjoys mountain biking and Pilates.
The most rewarding part of my job is working to ease our patients’ pain and discomfort and help them heal.
