Ali Ghani, MD, FACC, FACP, is a UW Health interventional cardiologist who specializes in catheter (small tube) based treatment for heart and valve diseases.
Dr. Ghani commonly treats heart-related health conditions such as heart attacks, heart failure, valvular heart disease, peripheral vascular diseases, hyperlipidemia (high lipid levels), arrhythmias (irregular heartbeat), coronary artery disease (CAD) and other cardiac health concerns.
Using a patient-centered approach to care, Dr. Ghani listens to his patients’ concerns and explains treatment options so they can make informed decisions about their care. He stays up to date on the best clinical practices, treatment options and medications to improve patient outcome and overall experience.
Dr. Ghani is fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi, which allows him to better serve a diverse population.
In his free time, Dr. Ghani enjoys jogging, cycling and watching movies.
