Amanda Moe, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner in internal medicine. Amanda provides primary health care services for adults aged 18 and older.
She cares for people with chronic (long-term) health conditions, such as diabetes and hypertension (high blood pressure). Amanda also addresses acute (suddenly occurring) conditions like sore throat, urinary tract infection (UTI) or abdominal pain. She focuses on preventive health care to help her patients live their healthiest lives.
Amanda has special clinical interests in women’s health, specifically perimenopause and menopause health issues. She enjoys internal medicine because she gets to know her patients over time and can help them catch issues before they become chronic health conditions. Amanda works with specialty providers across UW Health and refers patients for higher level specialized care, as needed.
Outside of work, Amanda enjoys hiking, traveling, spending time outdoors and cooking.
The majority of what I do as a health care provider is listening. I work with each patient to come up with the best care plan, together.
