Amanda Macke, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner. She provides comprehensive care for babies, children, teens and young adults. Amanda is passionate about helping families better understand each stage of their child’s development. She uses a holistic approach, addressing her patients’ physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs. She offers preventive care that includes health screenings, vaccinations and well checks and helps with mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Amanda also diagnoses and treats common acute (sudden onset) childhood illnesses and helps patients manage chronic (long-term) conditions such as asthma, allergies and eczema. Amanda believes in shared decision-making and working with patients and their families to create personalized care plans that will help them achieve their unique wellness goals. I love working with people and enjoy being part of a helping profession.
