Amy Bruno is a doctor of physical therapy at UW Health. She specializes in neurological physical therapy and cares for patients with a wide range of neurological conditions, including balance disorders, accidental trauma and neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis (MS).
Amy works with patients to manage symptoms and improve function. In addition to providing physical therapy for patients who have experienced neurological illness or injury, Amy assists with issues such as wheelchair seating and positioning and provides vestibular rehabilitation for dizziness .
Amy offers patient-centered care and helps direct treatment under the guidance of the patient’s doctors and care team. She entered the health care profession to be part of a team of medical professionals whose end goal is improving patients’ quality of life.
I believe that each person's health care journey is unique and should be treated as such. It’s important for patients to be at the center of their health care team.
