Angela Fischer, PA, is a UW Health physician assistant who performs minor in-office surgical procedures to treat or remove cysts, hemorrhoids, lipomas (abnormal lumps of fatty tissue) and abscesses.
She evaluates patients before and after their procedures, as needed. Angela also sees patients with benign (non-cancerous) breast disorders, such as abscesses, breast pain or benign masses.
Angela finds her job rewarding because she helps people find relief from a problem they’re having and her patients often walk out of the clinic feeling better than when they arrived. She provides her patients with information about their condition and treatment options and involves them in the decision-making process for their care plan.
Outside of work, Angela enjoys spending time with her children and dogs, boating and playing games.
My philosophy toward patient care is to treat the patient like I would want to be treated.
