About

Anne Walsh, PA, is a UW Health physician assistant in urology. Anne provides care including pre- and post-surgery care, chronic and acute condition management and patient education. She cares for patients with a wide variety of urologic (urinary system) conditions, including kidney stones, urinary tract infection (UTI) and incontinence (inability to control urine). She also provides care for men’s urologic health and for prostate, kidney and bladder cancer.

Anne offers in-office urologic procedures, including cystoscopy (using a long hollow tube to examine the bladder), aspiration (fluid removal), kidney stone stent removal and catheter (a long flexible tube that drains urine) changes. She also assists in the operating room with complex robotic surgical procedures, including robotic cancer surgery.

Anne enjoys following her patients through their care journey with her. She finds it rewarding to give them a diagnosis and treatment plan, work through their care together, and then see how they’ve improved after treatment.

Outside of work, Anne enjoys cheering on the Badgers and coaching her kids’ swim team.

I’ve always been driven to work in health care and I chose urology specifically because I have a personal link with several family members with prostate cancer.
