Anne Cunningham, NP, is a UW Health family nurse practitioner. She provides primary and preventive care for patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly.
Anne works with patients in all stages of life. She diagnoses and treats a wide range of acute (sudden) illnesses and minor injuries and helps patients manage chronic (long-lasting) diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure. She also offers annual physicals, well-check visits and vaccinations as part of her preventive care practice.
Anne has over 20 years of experience caring for patients in a variety of medical specialties. She chose to focus on family medicine because she enjoys working with a diverse group of patients and feels honored to get to know families and grow with them.
Using a patient-centered approach to care, Anne is committed to listening to her patients’ concerns and answering their questions. She provides education about their conditions and treatment options, then partners with patients to create personalized care plans.
Outside of work, Anne enjoys spending time with her family and feels her happiest in nature — hiking, gardening, golfing, walking her dog and vacationing at the beach.
Family practice allows me to develop a connection with my patients and provide personalized care.
