Anne Kolan, MD

After serving in the Americorps National Civilian Community Corps based in Charleston, South Carolina, Dr. Kolan returned to medical school and became involved in the Healer’s Art, an elective consisting of small group discussions on compassion in healing, which she continues to help facilitate. Throughout residency, she worked to improve healthy eating choices at the local hospital by helping to establish a community-supported agriculture (CSA) pick-up site. Dr. Kolan's interests include nutrition, movement, mind-body medicine and energy work. In her own pursuit of balance and wellness, she works at her daily meditation practice since completing the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course.
